Cookie policy
Which cookies pinet.com.tr uses, by category, what each is for and how long it lasts, and how to change your choice.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This page explains which ones pinet.com.tr uses. The short version: we use the cookies the website needs, and we use analytics cookies only if you say yes. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
These make the website work and do not need your consent. Pages you only read set no cookies. The pages of the contact form and the application form, including the pages that confirm a sent form, and the admin area set two cookies that protect forms against forgery; they expire two hours after you last opened or sent a form. When analytics is switched on, the website also stores your choice in the cookie banner in a small cookie of its own, so that it does not ask you again. It is set by pinet.com.tr itself and holds no personal data.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
pinet_consent |
Remembers your choice in the cookie banner: the version of this policy, a random identifier of the choice and whether you accepted analytics | Up to 12 months (Safari may delete it after 7 days, and the website then asks again) |
pinet-session |
Recognises your visit on our server while you fill in a form, so that the server can check the form is yours and show your answers again if something needs correcting. The cookie holds an encrypted identifier, not your answers. Set only on the pages of the forms (including the pages that confirm a sent form) and in the admin area | 2 hours, renewed each time you open or send a form |
XSRF-TOKEN |
A security token that protects forms against forged submissions from other websites. Set on the same pages | 2 hours, renewed in the same way |
Analytics cookies
Analytics is used only when we have switched it on; until then no analytics cookie is set. When it is on, the cookie banner asks first, and these cookies are set only if you accept analytics there. We then use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets the two cookies in the table. Analytics is configured without advertising features and without Google signals.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Tells one visitor from another | Up to two years |
_ga_ followed by an identifier |
Keeps the state of a session | Up to two years |
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing or social-media tracking pixels, and we do not load maps, videos or fonts from other companies, so no other company sets cookies on this website.
Consent and legal basis
Analytics cookies are set only after you have said yes in the cookie banner. The banner appears on your first visit as soon as analytics is switched on; until then the website sets no analytics cookies. Refusing is as easy as accepting. Necessary cookies are covered by our legitimate interest in running the website securely (KVKK art. 5/2-f); analytics cookies are used on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1 and, in the United Kingdom, PECR and the UK GDPR). We record your choice with a random identifier, the version of this policy and a hashed IP address, and keep the record for three years.
Changing your choice
Once analytics is switched on, open “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing deletes the analytics cookies. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website that need a form may then not work.
Data sent to Google
If you accept analytics, data about your use of the website is sent to Google, which is a transfer abroad. The KVKK notice explains this.
Updates and contact
When we change the cookies we use, we update this page and ask for your choice again. Questions: [email protected].
